National Park College has received a significant financial boost of $34,800 from the Roy and Christine Sturgis Charitable and Educational Trust. This generous donation is earmarked for the acquisition of ten Nikon Eclipse Si microscopes, which will greatly enhance the Medical Laboratory Technology program at the institution.
The addition of these state-of-the-art microscopes is expected to provide students with hands-on experience using advanced technology in their studies. This upgrade will not only improve the quality of education but also prepare students for careers in the medical laboratory field, where proficiency with modern equipment is essential.
College officials expressed gratitude for the trust's support, emphasizing the importance of such contributions in enriching educational resources and opportunities for students.
